Reality Television

So this isn't related to Studio M but I wanted to write about it anyway. My other blog is dedicated to my son therefore this topic doesn't really fit in there.

How many of you watch reality tv? My favorites right now are The Bachelor, The Hills and American Idol. Does American Idol fall into reality television? Oh well...it's close enough. I've been a HUGE fan of The Bachelor since season 1 but my viewing has changed. Back when I was younger, I actually cared who won and who got sent home. Now I just find all the drama good entertainment. Shayne is by far my favorite girl on the show...was from day 1. She cracks me up. Who cares if she's there to further her acting career. You can tell Matt is totally into her. I'm pulling for her. Let's hope this season doesn't end like last season where Brad didn't pick either girl. I liked Jenni way better than Deanna by the way.

Now moving on to The Hills. I like to watch it to see what drama is going to unfold but I just can't get over how staged it is. The fight between Heidi and LC and Spencer and Stephanie has gone too far. Just kiss and make up already! I'm loving Lo being on loads more this go round. Her and LC were my favorites on Laguna Beach. Yes I watched that too.

Now American Idol is messed up this season. Michael Johns should still be on the show and Syesha should have left last night instead of Carly. My absolute favorite this season is David Cook. Last season I liked both Blake and Jordin. I have a feeling the finale will be David Cook and David Archuletta (sp?) and I hope the 17 year old doesn't win. I'm getting sick of him. He's overrated and annoying.
