I came across today's feature Etsy store while browsing through Treasuries. This robot soap (http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=21821495) caught my attention. Isn't it just too cute?!? I wouldn't want to use it but I'd sure love to display it. I think if I went into a friend's bathroom and this was in their soap dish, I'd for sure get a chuckle. Whew! I enjoyed the holidays a little too much! I can't believe I haven't blogged in soooo long. I hope to get back on the horse and update this blog (as well as my personal blog) and my Etsy store. Custom Order

This is just a sampling of a custom order I finished last week. The customer wanted a set of 30 cards for her MIL for Christmas. I sure hope the MIL enjoys them. I had a blast making this many cards for one order (a first for me).

Sorry for the poor picture quality. It was windy and overcast outside and I had to snap a couple quick pictures before I shipped these out.

I've discovered the many features of Etsy's site that I never knew existed over the past couple of weeks. One of my favorite features is Pounce...where you can see the undiscovered or recently sold. It's so fun to 'pounce'.

I came across PennyPeople while pouncing the recently sold items and absolutely love this alphabet name print. It's perfect for a baby's nursery or playroom. Or even in a living room. This is such a great idea.

Sorry for the long break from blogging. I know I've used this 'excuse' before but I have been extremely busy. Life has a way of getting crazy and this past month has been C-R-A-Z-Y! I've finally had time to sit down and create some cards this week. Now if the weather would just cooperate so I can take pictures and post them in Studio M. Hopefully this afternoon.

I've been busy the past couple of weeks with custom orders (my favorite) so my studio looks horrible. In case you wonder where I spend most of my time (when I'm not in mommy mode) here ya go...

Custom Wedding Programs...A First

This is one of the many reasons I haven't posted in a while...

180 custom handmade wedding programs and 18 custom place cards to match. A huge Thank You to my mom for helping me finish them. Did I mention that these were handmade? All 180 of them? I think it took me a total of 10 hours (over the course of a few days) to complete the order. This was my first big custom job and I had a blast doing it. Let's hope this is the first of many big custom jobs.

Glass Beach

For our trip to Mexico last month, I hunted high and low for the perfect passport wallet. Yes...I could have just stuck my passport, boarding pass, driver's license and credit card in my regular wallet but I wanted to spend some money and get something new. I found the perfect item to fit the bill...

This passport wallet was created just for me by the lovely Etsy store Glass Beach. The shop owner was so awesome to work with and super quick! I just love my passport wallet and I got so many complements on it while on vacation. It can even be used as a regular wallet! Back In Business

After a much needed vacation, I am now back in business. I've been so busy with life lately that I haven't had much time to craft. We now have a potty trained 2 year old. That took alot out of me. More than I had thought it would. We also went on a vacation to Mexico.

I hope to be back in action with new card listings on Studio M in the next couple of days. I have a few custom projects that I'm working on too so be on the lookout for those. And maybe I'll have another giveaway soon. Until then...

Congrats to Aubrey and Lisa for 'winning' a Thanks card set each. I think I'm going to start calling these sets my signature set b/c I just love to make them. I made about 40 in one evening and kept most of them for myself. I get selfish sometimes with my projects. Sorry for lack of posting here and on Etsy. I have been busy with day to day things. I now have a 2 year old who is potty trained and who has moved out of a baby nursery and into a big boy room. It's bittersweet. We've been rather busy and I don't see it slowing down anytime til August. Jeesh! But by all means keep buying cards and ordering custom ones. I'm never too busy to whip up a card for ya! Well it's been a long day/week and my bed is calling to me. There's no shame in calling it a day at 9 pm is there?

I've been so busy lately that I haven't had time to sit down and create anything new. The last project I did was the custom graduation card and that feels like 2 months ago. I hope to get back in the swing of things but summer is here and our calendar is booked already. Not to mention potty training is in our near future. I have a feeling my little 2.5 year old is going to need ALL my attention for this venture. So I promise to try to get some new cards up if you promise to buy some old ones. The more I sell the more I'm motivated to make new product. I'm even willing to give away a 'Thanks' card set ($7.25 value) to the first 2 people to comment on here. Reality Television

So this isn't related to Studio M but I wanted to write about it anyway. My other blog is dedicated to my son therefore this topic doesn't really fit in there.

How many of you watch reality tv? My favorites right now are The Bachelor, The Hills and American Idol. Does American Idol fall into reality television? Oh well...it's close enough. I've been a HUGE fan of The Bachelor since season 1 but my viewing has changed. Back when I was younger, I actually cared who won and who got sent home. Now I just find all the drama good entertainment. Shayne is by far my favorite girl on the show...was from day 1. She cracks me up. Who cares if she's there to further her acting career. You can tell Matt is totally into her. I'm pulling for her. Let's hope this season doesn't end like last season where Brad didn't pick either girl. I liked Jenni way better than Deanna by the way.

Now moving on to The Hills. I like to watch it to see what drama is going to unfold but I just can't get over how staged it is. The fight between Heidi and LC and Spencer and Stephanie has gone too far. Just kiss and make up already! I'm loving Lo being on loads more this go round. Her and LC were my favorites on Laguna Beach. Yes I watched that too.

Now American Idol is messed up this season. Michael Johns should still be on the show and Syesha should have left last night instead of Carly. My absolute favorite this season is David Cook. Last season I liked both Blake and Jordin. I have a feeling the finale will be David Cook and David Archuletta (sp?) and I hope the 17 year old doesn't win. I'm getting sick of him. He's overrated and annoying.
